Your Stay
Slow mornings. Coffee in hand. Sea on the horizon
A home from home...
Hill Croft is a much-loved Victorian cottage, built around 1890 and thoughtfully updated for modern comfort. From two of the bedrooms, you can wake to sea views and watch the sun rise over the horizon before wandering downstairs for a lazy breakfast on the terrace.

A place to relax...
The secure garden is perfect for children and dogs to play, while you relax with a coffee, a book, or simply the sound of birdsong. Keep an eye out for local wildlife — red squirrels, rabbits, alpacas in the neighbouring field, and even the occasional white-tailed eagle soaring overhead.
With very little light pollution, clear nights are ideal for stargazing, making the terrace a magical place to end the day.
There are wonderful walks straight from the doorstep — across National Trust downland or along the coastal path towards Ventnor or St Catherine’s Oratory. Walkers and cyclists are especially well catered for here.
Like to explore?
Just a 15-minute downhill walk away lies Reeth Bay at Castlehaven, a true hidden gem. Tucked away at the end of a woodland track, it’s perfect for swimming, rock pooling al low tide, or simply soaking up the peace. In the warmer months, True Food Kitchen opens its outdoor beachside restaurant — a glorious spot for coffee, cake, or a leisurely meal with panoramic sea views.
For evenings when you don’t feel like cooking, the Buddle Smugglers Inn is less than five minutes’ walk away, with the White Lion pub also nearby in Niton village.
You will also want to explore some of other lovely beaches just a short drive away, such as the pictured Chilton Chine, one of the many dog friendly beaches on the Isle of Wight.
